Transcripts, Syllabi, and Verifications

To request a transcript, please visit the UVA Registrar’s website.

If you need a letter to certify that you are an enrolled student, you must request one from the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) through the University Registrar's Credentialing Services web page. The School of Nursing Registrar is not able to provide these letters (or degree verifications, enrollment verifications, or transcripts). The only official enrollment verification comes from the University Registrar. Enrollment verification letters fulfill insurance providers, military, and other agency requirements. Further information can be found on the UVA Registrar's website.

If you have matriculated and are seeking transfer credit for coursework completed at other institutions, please request that the institution send official electronic transcripts to SON-Registrar@virginia.edu. If you need to send hard copies, please request that the institution send them to:

If you are an alum seeking completion of a verification form for nursing licensure or graduate school or need course syllabi to support a licensure or graduate school application, please email SON-Registrar@virginia.edu. We will process these as quickly as possible, but it may take up to two weeks to finalize your request.
