Certifications
Required certifications prior to start at the School of Nursing:
- RN License
All MSN, doctoral and RN to BSN students are required to have a copy of their current RN license on file in the School of Nursing.
- CPR Certification
The School of Nursing requires that all nursing students possess American Heart Association AED certification for Healthcare Providers. You must have Adult, Infant and Child training and AED. Please email a copy of your current CPR certification to the Program Manager for your program (list is below). A re-certification is required every two years.
- NRP Certification
All NNP students are required to possess Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Heart Association. A re-certification is required every two years.
