Recognizing exceptional faculty mentors.

• Purpose: to recognize and reward exceptional efforts made by faculty to support the development of junior faculty researchers
• Amount: $250 funded by the Alumni Association with proceeds from the Nursing Annual Fund
• Eligibility: Recipients for this award are chosen by the tenure-track, early career faculty, post-doctoral scholars and PhD students; Nominations and feedback may be solicited from other faculty, if desired.

Submission process & guidelines

• Application: The member of the research committee who meets the criteria of being a tenure-track, early career will be responsible for organizing the appropriate voting individuals to make the selection and to provide the name of the recipient and a paragraph describing the contribution of this individual that can be used with announcing the award.
• Deadline: February 15 each year
• Submission: Nominations should be emailed to the Associate Dean for Research, Jeanne Alhusen.
